A fire which destroyed three ambulances outside East Surrey Hospital was caused by an electrical fault.Monday's dramatic fire outside the East Entrance destroyed three vehicles, with the blaze in the first ambulance quickly engulfing two others owned by South East Coast Ambulance service.Two of the ambulances were empty, but one, a private Medicar European ambulance, had a patient and two members of staff on board.
