Surrey Mirror published Redhill landlord's despair as police let drug pair go
Police officers released two men caught with cocaine because arresting them would "tie us up with paperwork", according to a Redhill publican.Danny Foley, landlord at The Eagles Nest pub, said he discovered the pair in one of the pub's toilets in the early hours of Saturday morning with a "significant" amount of the Class A drug.Mr Foley asked three of his doormen to detain them at the High Street venue until the police had arrived.He telephoned Surrey Police on 101 at...
