A witness appeal has been launched after gunfire and an offensive weapon were reported in Warlingham. Officers were called to the village green yesterday afternoon following a fight involving a group of men, one of whom is believed to have been carrying an offensive weapon. They fled as police arrived. A search of the area, off Limpsfield Road, then took place by officers on the ground as well as by the police helicopter and dog unit.
