A plan to merge two Surrey schools is set to be given the green light.Surrey County Council is preparing to approve a plan to amalgamate St Nicholas School in Merstham and Starhurst School in Dorking from September 1.It follows a consultation on the plans, during which governors at St Nicholas told parents the school was the "most likely" site for a new 900-pupil secondary school.However, the council's report does not reveal where the schools will be based in the future and academy...
