The flooding which devastated Caterham yesterday has wrecked a pub.Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to the Golden Lion, in Town End.Landlord Terry Creton said water had inundated the cellar, wrecking stock and equipment.The damage toll will be thousands of pounds, he said.Mr Creton expects the pub will remain shut for several days.More than 40 millimetres - 1.5 inches - of rain fell in and around Caterham between 2pm and 4pm, which is around 80 per cent of June's expected...
