A huge oil spill was cordoned off by fire crews in South Godstone on Friday evening.Fire crews were called to the A22 at Eastbourne Road to a broken down car which had caused the 200m long and 15cm wide spillage, with reports of a cyclist having slipped on it – but they had left before firefighters arrived.The road was cordoned off at the affected area and crews checked the car was not on fire.Firefighter Matthew Lingard said the matter was left with Surrey County Council to clean the oil...
