Surrey Mirror published Adult social care hikes in Surrey 'affect those most in need'
A hike in adult social care charges targets those "in most need", according to a disability group.From October 3, Surrey County Council will charge £295 for arranging for individuals to have care in their homes, on top of an annual fee of £75, which will be reviewed each April.The council will also raise the percentage of income taken into account while setting charges, from 90% to 100% and include the full rate of a person's attendance allowance, disability living...
