Hi, I'm Kelly - a proud member of the Fetcham community and have been for all my life. I was brought up here and now live here with my family - I am also the vice chair of the Fetcham Residents Association and a strong believer in giving back to the community. Surrey County Council is to slash the hours libraries are open by 7 per cent to save £250,000. in a statement on its website the council said the change was being made to allow funding to be diverted to "essential services".Under the new plan, many of the county's larger libraries will open at 9.30am, instead of 9am, Monday-Staurday from September 5.
