Surrey Mirror published Severe rail delays after Caterham train hits tree

A train travelling from Caterham to Purley has hit a tree, causing severe rail disruption between the two stations. Southern said the 5.50am service from Caterham to London Bridge hit a fallen tree between Caterham and Whyteleafe this morning. Network Rail workers are onsite working to remove the tree.
