Chessington World of Adventures has announced that eight penguins at its zoo have died after being attacked by a fox last month. Five adult birds and two chicks were mauled to death by the fox one night in late June after the urban pest broke into the Penguin Bay water enclosure. Another male penguin was also attacked by the fox but has since made "a full recovery", a zoo manager said.
