TMackintosh published Plane makes 'emergency landing' at Gatwick Airport

A flight has made an "emergency landing" at Gatwick Airport, after being diverted from its route to Tenerife. The Vueling Airlines plane was en route from Birmingham to Tenerife when it turned round over Guernsey. It took off from Birmingham at 11am and was due to land on the Spanish island at 3.30pm local time. It is not clear at the moment what has forced the plane to divert to Gatwick.
