Smallfield residents have described parking and congestion on Wheelers Lane as "an accident waiting to happen" after a six-year-old girl was hit by a car this morning at around 8.40am.The collision took place just outside Burstow Primary School on Wheelers Lane near the junction with Redehall Road.The girl was taken to St. George's Hospital in Tooting with a serious head injury.
