Thousands of pounds of taxpayer's cash is being spent on upgrading a "barely used" pedestrian crossing in East Grinstead.Over the course of this week and next week, traffic on London Road (A22) will be affected as West Sussex County Council's highways department spend £30,000 to turn a pelican crossing into a new puffin crossing.The new crossing will have sensors installed that can detect whether pedestrians are waiting to cross and is expected to reduce the amount of time...
