Surrey Mirror published 'Almost record breaking' queues on M25 and rail delays due to hot...

There is some bad news for drivers heading home for the bank holiday weekend – there are some almost record-breaking queues on the M25 and the heat is affecting trains too. Drivers on the motorway are either sat with their handbrake on or stopping and starting in scorching 29 degree heat. Queues are reportedly 60 miles long anticlockwise, reaching from close to Junction 20 at Watford all the way to Junction 6 at Godstone.
