Following approval from the Government for an emergency timetable that would see around 350 trains cancelled, Godstone and Nutfield could be left without a rail service.The rail operator Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) has said that the changes, to be announced tomorrow, would be a temporary measure while staffing levels are at a record low.This follows months of frustration for rail passengers who have seen an increase in train cancellations due to staff sickness and strike action.Read more:...
