A fire on the tracks near Gatwick Station this morning has caused disruption on the Southern Rail network which is expected to last for most of the day. A reduced service is currently running and there are no services between Gatwick and Brighton. Southern Rail says what sparked the fire is not known, but the electrical third rail, running rail and cables surrounding them have been damaged.
