RMT and Southern are set to hold talks, after the rail union announced a plan to hold a five-day strike.Discussions between the two organisations, which have been battling for months over planned changes to conductor roles, are in the process of being organised by ACAS, the advisory, conciliation and arbitration service.It follows RMT announcing a five-day walk-out between August 8-12.The union have been part of an ongoing bitter dispute with Southern and its parent company Govia Thameslink...
