Chessington World of Adventures has released some amazing pictures from throughout the history of their zoo as they celebrate its 85th birthday.The zoo first opened its gates on July 28, 1931 and was the brainchild of entrepreneur and WW1 flight lieutenant Reginald Goddard who brought Burnt Stub mansion as a place to house his large collection of exotic animals.
