Caitlin Webb published Morrisons pulls out of Merstham regeneration plans

Morrisons will no longer be opening a store in Merstham.The supermarket has decided to withdraw its plans for an "M" convenience store at the Iron Horse site after a company-wide decision to downsize its property portfolio.Around 140 of the existing "M" convenience stores were sold last year to multi-millionaire Mike Greene.The store's opening would have brought 20 jobs to the area.Read more: Uncertainty over Morrisons store opening in MersthamHowever Reigate and Banstead...
