Surrey Mirror published More retirement flats for Warlingham alarms residents

THE prospect of dozens more retirement flats going up in Warlingham has alarmed many residents. If a plan is approved to demolish two houses in Westhall Road to make way for 33 apartments, it will be the fifth large retirement complex to be built in the village in recent years. The scheme, by McCarthy and Stone, would also provide 35 parking spaces. More than 40 residents have submitted objections to Tandridge District Council.
