Leo the owl is the new arrival at a wildlife centre near Lingfield.The long-eared owl hatched last month and is the first bred at the British Wildlife Centre, off the A22 Eastbourne Road.One of the centre's keepers Meg Buckland was chosen to be his "mum", and is hand rearing him.The centre's marketing officer Liza Lipscombe said: "He has settled happily with Meg almost instantly and they are rarely apart."She has done a wonderful job getting him acclimatised to staff,...
