Firefighters are tackling a serious fire which has engulfed a house in Copthorne. A total of seven crews from Salfords, Godstone, East Grinstead and Crawley fire stations have spent the last two hours extinguishing the blaze at a property in Herons Close, Domewood. Firefighters were called at 2.51pm after a passerby saw the flames at a derelict home in the private estate.
