A Thameslink commuter has spoken of his shock after a window of the rush hour train he was travelling on was smashed after stones were reportedly thrown at it while it was travelling through Surrey. Geoff Simpson was heading home to Wivelsfield when the incident happened shortly after 5pm between Earlswood and Salfords stations. The Thameslink service from Bedford to Brighton was one of the faster services travelling through Surrey, and not stopping at Merstham, Redhill, Earlswood, Salfords...
