Surrey Mirror published Hate crimes in Surrey 'double' following Brexit

The number of hate crimes reported to police in Surrey doubled in the week following the EU referendum.There were 40 hate crimes reported to Surrey Police in the week of June 24 to June 30 - up from 19 in the 7 days before.The number was also higher than the 23 crimes reported in the same week in 2015.
