In the first 45 minutes Leafe seemed slow, ponderous and often resorting to 'hoofball', and were clearly missing an injured Jensen Grant in midfield. The second half was altogether different and, were it not for the absolute belter played by Herne Bay's young keeper Toby Wood, Leafe would have stormed the match.
