A woman has told a court today how she was forced to swerve to avoid a man walking on the carriageway shortly before he was hit and killed by another vehicle.Martin Standen-Grant, 49, died on West Park Road in Newchapel, Surrey, while walking home with a friend between 9 and 9.30pm on March 1, 2015.Bernard Matthews, 37, who lives on The Plantation mobile home site on West Park Road, is accused of causing Mr Standen-Grant's death by careless driving and was arrested at his home about 80 minutes...
