A suspected attempted robbery has taken place at a jewellers in Banstead this afternoon (Friday). Surrey Police has issued an appeal for witnesses after the incident at Campbells Of Banstead Ltd at number 35 High Street. Police were called at about 2.15pm and have since set up a cordon around the front of the store where a motorbike can be seen abandoned on the ground.
