People out and about in Surrey and Sussex today could be on the receiving end of "torrential downpours" after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for rain.The weather warning, which has been issued for Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brigton and Hove, Hampshire, Kent, Medway and Portsmouth, warns that in some places up to 20mm of rain could fall in an hour.It also warned that thunder and lightning could accompany some of the showers but these are likely to be isolated in nature....
