The entrance to a Whyteleafe church was set on fire in a suspected arson attack. Firefighters were called to St Luke's Church, on Whyteleafe Hill, just before 4am today (Thursday, June 22) to a report that the thatched roof of the Lych Gate entrace to the church was alight. Crews from Godstone and Banstead fire station attended and remained there for three hours.
