Marks and Spencer has remained tight-lipped about a possible store in Hamsey Green despite rumours suggesting it is opening a branch at the former Ken's Autos site.The department store and supermarket chain has confirmed it would like to open a new Foodhall "in the Croydon area" and with Hamsey Green sitting on the border of Surrey and Croydon, local rumours could fit in with that.
