More than 1,500 people attended a special Medieval Fayre in East Grinstead at the weekend and were treated to everything from falconry displays to medieval jousting.The event, held at Saint Hill Manor on Sunday (May 28), included maypole dancing, apple bobbing, a coconut shy, and stocks – where people were pelted with sodden sponges.
