Hi, I'm Kelly - a proud member of the Fetcham community and have been for all my life. I was brought up here and now live here with my family - I am also the vice chair of the Fetcham Residents Association and a strong believer in giving back to the community. We currently meet bi-monthly and are always looking for more people to join! Surrey Mirror published Merstham primary could grow by 50 per cent to help bridge school...
A MERSTHAM primary will become 50 per cent bigger as Surrey County Council attempts to keep up with demand for places.An extra 210 pupils will be going to school at Furzefield Primary if the plans are signed off.No planning application has yet been submitted for extra buildings needed to accommodate the children, but the council says the Delabole Road site has capacity.The pupil roll will grow by 30 children each year from this coming September, from the current 420 to 630.
