Surrey Mirror published Chipstead finish season with narrow defeat to Walton Casuals

Chipstead were unable to achieve a fairytale finish to their season, succumbing to a 1-0 home defeat to Walton Casuals, but this was hardly a last day stroll in the park, as both teams keenly sought the 3 points at stake. It was a family day at the High Road, with free entry for everyone, & a St George's Day barbecue served throughout - a nice touch was for 22 of Chipstead's youth team players, to accompany both teams onto the pitch, & then have their photo taken with the home matchday...
