SOUTHERN has urged a rail union to suspend strikes planned for next month, as East Surrey faces another four days of disruption.The rail operator and the RMT are set to sit down for talks on Friday, ahead of further conductor strikes planned for May 10-13.The union's members have been striking this week over plans by Southern to change conductor roles, proposals the RMT say compromise passenger safety.Southern says the strikes will disrupt 600,000 passengers.Chief operating officer Dyan Crowther...
