BrianHaran published Demolition of Redhill landmark begins - 49 days late
Work has finally begun to demolish a Redhill landmark - 49 days behind schedule.The removal of the town centre's distinctive red canopy in Warwick Quadrant had been due to start on March 7.But it was not until today that protective railings started being put in place ahead of the demolition.Once the canopy is removed, it will be replaced by a glass and steel structure.It will form one of the focal points of the ongoing multimillion-pound scheme for an Sainsburys store, new flats, a hotel and a...
