Josh_Searle published Council no longer a part of plans to redevelop Oxted gas holder...

Tandridge District Council will not be financially involved in plans to redevelop Oxted's gas holder. The derelict eyesore, behind the shops in Station Road East, was built in the 1960s but has stood idle since being decommissioned more than 15 years ago. In March, the council unveiled a proposal to provide a £400,000 cash injection to get the site redeveloped, under the proviso that work was completed by April next year.
