Young patients on the children's ward at East Surrey Hospital had their day made when they received a surprise visit from an owl.Children on Outwood Ward at the Redhill-based hospital got to meet as European eagle owl called Daisy to help lift their spirits.The not-so-ordinary treat was organised by paediatric surgeon, Nick Alexander. who got in touch with the Heathrow Owl Rescue Centre to put a smile on the children's faces.
