TomVKlaveren published Shops and traffic lights in Dorking left without power for two...
A power cut took out traffic lights and plunged shops and business on one section of Dorking's High Street into darkness for about two hours. UK Power Networks said the power outage, which hit at around 2.30pm today, was caused by a faulty cable and supply was restored at around 4.30pm. Several sections of the High Street were affected by the power cut and Dorking Sports Centre was forced to shut for the duration before reopening at around 4.30pm.
