Newdigate bonfire night is to go ahead this year after a group of community figures stepped in to organise the 20-year-old tradition.The bonfire night and fireworks display, which had been close to not taking place due to organisational issues, will now take place on October 28 at The Brocus Recreation Ground after a group co-ordinated by the Newdigate Community Centre agreed to run the event.
