Two crews were called to a fire on the roof of a property in Ashtead last night (Wednesday) and had to work around scaffolding to put it out. One fire engine from Leatherhead Fire Station and another from Epsom Fire Station attended the roof fire at a property on Albert Road at about 6.30pm.On arrival, the roof of the house near to some scaffolding was smoking and smouldering.The two crews worked together and had the situation under control after 45 minutes.
