Tesco has announced that it will scrap 5p single use carrier bags and instead urge customers to use a 10p 'Bag for Life'.The supermarket giant said it will discontinue the bags in three weeks' time, despite selling over 700 million carrier bags a year since the controversial charges were brought in nationally in 2015.
