TomVKlaveren published 13 cars involved in crash which forced temporary closure of M23

The M23 was forced to close in one direction this morning (January 11) after a 13-car crash between Gatwick Airport and the M25. The collision occurred around junction eight for Merstham and caused long queues of rush hour traffic in the surrounding area. The northbound carriageway was closed for a short time following the crash, which happened at around 7am, and one lane remained closed more than an hour later.
