A prolific Dorking burglar and fraudster who attempted to evade police by driving a 4x4 into the South Downs has been jailed for three years and eight months.Darryl Matthew Dempsey, 21, of Beare Green, Dorking, Surrey, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to all charges against him.The offences included eight burglaries of non-dwellings, six counts of fraud, handling stolen goods, driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.Now Read: More...
