Residents have expressed their shock and support for a "lovely couple" who run the Forest Road General Store in Effingham after it was robbed on Sunday (January 8). The robbery took place at about 11.10am and police say the shopkeeper was left "very shaken" when a man entered the shop and, after a struggle with the owner, stole cash from the till. The offender, who was described as being white, wearing black clothing and carrying a black rucksack, ran from the scene...
