Surrey Mirror published Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey could be bulldozed for housing

The historic horse racing venue Kempton Park Racecourse could be closed and demolished for housing, the Jockey Club has confirmed.According to the BBC, the course in Sunbury-on-Thames could be demolished and another all-weather course built in its place at Newmarket as part of a plan which the Jockey Club says is "for the long-term good of British racing".The course stages the famous King George VI Chase which would move to Sandown if the plans go ahead.The sale of Kempton Park will...
