CaitlinWebb published Southern timetable consultation for 2018: Reigate to lose London...

Reigate is set to lose its direct service to London Bridge from 2018 because a new set of trains will be too long for the platform.According to a draft timetable document from Govia Thameslink Railway, trains being brought in to run all services to London Bridge are 12 carriages long, but Reigate's railway station can only accommodate four-carriage trains.To counteract this problem there are two separate proposals from the operator - either direct trains between Reigate and London Victoria twice...
