A Whyteleafe dad has quit his job and is about to start a 40,000-mile trip around the world - with his teddy bear joining him every step of the way. Jon Milne, 50, is taking part in the famous Clipper Round The World Race to raise money for the Lily Foundation, a charity which funds research into the currently incurable mitochondrial disease. The dad-of-two, from Mosslea Road, has self-funded the trip, giving up work as an IT executive to embark on the 11-month journey. Keeping him company...
