A police presence remains in a Crawley street this morning (Monday, August 14) after homes were evacuated and armed officers surrounded an address due to "concerns for the welfare of a man".Emergency services were stationed outside a home in Irving Walk, in Tilgate, for seven hours yesterday (Sunday, August 13) with the road cordoned off and people evacuated to the nearby Tilgate Community Centre for their own safety.Sussex Police arrived at the scene at 3pm, with ambulance paramedics...
