A historic pub in Redhill could be set to re-open its doors as early as next month, following a successful campaign to save it from closure. The Garibaldi pub, in Mill Street, has been boarded up for weeks after Reigate and Banstead Borough Council rejected a plan in May to demolish it and build four new houses on the site. A campaign group, called The Friends of the Garibaldi, then successfully negotiated with the Garibaldi's landlord to takeover the lease of the pub and last Friday...
