More than 150 runners took on the challenge of navigating an extremely muddy obstacle course in Beare Green on Sunday in the first ever Operation: MUD charity run. Organised by Chestnut Tree House children's hospice, the race saw competitors leaping into muddy puddles, climbing mucky ropes and swinging across bogs at Henfold Lakes to raise money for the charity.The event, which is new for 2017, was attended by 158 runners with the fastest competitor, 30-year-old Worthing man Stephen O'Rourke,...
